These are concerts that are supposed to take place in DECEMBER, just about the busiest social month and littered with events that have been planned weeks and months ahead, and also an expensive month. But when you're a Prince fan, you're supposed to drop everything at the drop of a hat because P has a brainfart.

I find them hilarious, to be quite frank, because they come off bitter, miserable, spouting negativity, while drowning and wallowing in the misery they created for themselves. Hilarious!

Well, I'm probably in the minority here, but the only artists on that list I care to see are Sheila E. and Prince. I remember one year he toured with Chaka Kahn and Larry Graham. I think Doug E. Fresh came out too. That was the longest ass show. If he brought this act with all these artists on the road, there is no way I would pay for all that.

What's his problem with not doing a regular tour anyway? He hasn't been to Detroit in six years! I guess he forgot about his all his little "motorbabies."

I'm with you on the Sheila E. issue.

He could put together such a great lineup and really put on a great show, but his mind is locked in some bizarre place that he refuses to get it out of. I guess it makes sense to no one, but himself.

Dude always pull names out of a grab bag. The special guests will consist of the usual boring fare ie. Mint Condition, The Time, Sheila E... I remember him name dropping supporting acts for The Jam Of The Year tour back in 97, Lenny Kravitz, No Doubt. Hmmm...

Janelle Monae, Ezperanza, these are great artists. He obviously cannot tour with big names, because they would overshadow him. The artists also have to do black music. This is about alternative funk/soul.
