Been listening to the last three albums a lot lately...damn this dude put out a lot a music! I like them all in there on special way so help me decide which of these three releases is best in order and when I say Lotus I mean all 3 discs as the same album. And feel free to post pictures from the Earth/Lotus/20ten era 2007-20ten. PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20ten(worst Prince album ever)

Easy....20Ten is awesome!! It has really great songs and is comparable to his 80s stuff!! Then Planet Earth, mainly because I LOVE Future Baby Mama and SHOE. Lotus is still a great cd set for me, it's just my least fave out of the 3. All I know is that the music from the 2000's are great!! I'm loving what Prince has done and I hope the next 10yrs are just as good.

Lotus is number one because of the single title disc, it's his best since The Rainbow Children. I actually really like Planet Earth but 20Ten just edges it out to the bottom of the list for me.

Hmmm... 20Ten is consistent but little stands out, Planet Earth has a few standout tracks along with some atrocious ones, and I really like MPLSoUND but haven't really 'felt' Lotusslow3r that much....

I guess I'd put it as:

Planet Earth has that mainstream-"worthy" aura around it; it even feels like a Warner 00s album...

Lotus and 20Ten both feel like alternative albums released through independent labels, the kind of album that you won't find at Walmart...

but of the three I'll go with 20Ten, because it's the strongest of the three by far, and the logical evolution of the sound and themes of 3121 (even if both Planet Earth & Lotus sound like a direct sequel to Musicology...)

PE (flawed but several of my favourite songs from the past decade)

20Ten (a couple of half-decent tracks, rest boring throwback junk)

Regarding Lotus, all 3 discs are not the same album.

Planet Earth will be one of the most SPECIAL albums of Prince, for me. It was the first time I went to Mpls and I had some of the music before the album came out (I had a leaked copy) Shhh !!!

too easy as lotus has 3 cds yes i like some tracks on the third cd....but the order is right:-D

1) Planet Earth, BEST album of the decade with 3121 being closely behind

2) Lotusflow3r/MPLSound has some good tracks and clunkers too.

3) 20Ten...trash.
