I'm there with or without Sheila...I've never had a bad Prince concert experience.

Totally agree with Efan about Sheila, too. That's the thing I'm most excited about. Hunt down the video of the show she did with him recently in Europe and I bet you'll feel the same way. | |

But the extent to which it'd be a priority really would depend on what band members he reconvened. If he comes to SF or Oakland, sure. Hopefully it's not an arena tour, though, because arenas are thoroughly garbage. | |

I'm already polling friends as to whether or not they're interested in coming so that I'm all organised if (when??
Prince has given me a great deal over the years - much better value than most of the things I spend my money on. I'm happy to continue paying to maintain that exchange.

I've been going to concerts since the summer... I am going to see Oleta Adams on the 29th, and Experience Hendrix on November 13th.

I definitely have the money (sneak into some of my student loans, lol) to go. Would be even more fun if I had fellow Princey fans to join with! I'm all ready!! The savings will be emptied quick with as many shows as I can attend!! Been waiting for months now, so yeah I'm ready for front row, VIP, whatever section...I want up close and personal. Hopefully he will announce some US shows b/c going to these European shows are costly! But oh well, Prince is worth every red cent!! Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. I was saving for a DSLR, but that can wait. Canon will be making cameras forever, a chance to see Prince is rare these days. So I've got $300/400 stashed aside for the best tickets I can get whenever he chooses to come in FL (hopefully Sunrise/Fort Lauderdale or Orlando!)...and all of this is on a college budget. Books, who needs 'em?

If the shows cost roughly what they costed last tour, plus accounting for inflation, I should be able to hit up three shows. The question is whether or not I will be able to do it logistically. I live 2.5 hours from NYC, 3 hours from Boston, and 4 hours from Philly, so I imagine that I should be able to make my quota of 3 concerts. That is assuming he hits up the usual east coast spots.
