Prince's Songs inspired by Local Areas??? I find it curious as someone who has not been to MPLS just how many local places and areas have made their way into a Prince song or even the title???
The ones i can think of are Calhoun Square (downtown mpls), Uptown, Aboretum (after the Mpls Landscape Aboretum around the corner from Paisley??). Any others? (Learning the MPLS airport is called 'Flying Cloud' as are his 'Flying Cloud' guitars is pretty cool..yep i'm slow i know) I sincerely want 2 fuck the taste out of your mouth

The Flying Cloud Airport is just a municipal Airport in the vicinity of Chanhassen!!
Thats not the name given 2 the main MSP International Airport, which, by the way, the main Terminal is called the Lindbergh Terminal and theres also a Hubert H. Humphrey Terminal!! By the way, if u have never been 2 Minneapolis, how do u know about these places, like the Arboretum?? DAMN!!! THIS BRINGS BACK SO MANY MEMORIES TALKING ABOUT ALL THES PLACES THAT EYE KNOW SO WELL AND LOVE!!!

Flying Cloud is probably named after his rehearsal warehouse and studio in Flying Cloud Drive back in the 80's rather than the airport.

I've never been to Mpls but when Per Nilsen's 1st book came out I studies the map of the Mpls area. I noticed there was a small place called Crystal.
I always considered that that was the place where the Crystall ball was held.
