A co-worker informed me today that she has a friend "in the industry" and that the inside scoop is that Prince will be on tour soon in the states with none other than Earth, Wind and Fire! That was all the info she had ( believe me when I say I pumped her for more) but she didn't have any specifics. Now, before I get attacked....I know it is just a rumor! But that would be a bomb tour if true!! I am gonna try to get more info, like what her friend actually does and how he would have such info, but until then, I'm gonna just hold onto my little thread of hope!!

Seems like I heard something about them touring as EWF with only one original member or something.

Okay, they only mention Maurice White as no longer being in the group. No mention of Philip Bailey.

Oh, and they have no dates at this time on their website, so it's wide open if they do tour with Prince.

Though I highly doubt this rumor is true. I just can't base my disbelief on, "When have you known Prince to..." anymore because as recent years have crystal clearly demonstrated, Prince will do a whole bunch of shit, he's never been known to do, if...

This is a cool rumor!! I don't care so much about the EWF part, as much as I care about the idea that Prince will be touring the US soon!! That would be great!!!!!!!!

If this rumor proved true it would be great. As much as I enjoy EWF i have yet to see them live and would jump at the chance to see this double feature. I wonder how expensive the tix would be?
