The slow progression of around 16 different superbly played instruments in a jazz funk groove simulating a woman's orgasm is why so many here listen to this cat. The bass at cresendo w/ horns underneath peaking also is why everybody in the industry knows he aint playing. You cant appreciate the buildup and climax enough and the weird part is that he was able to musically communicate the act. To focus on a sound effect in the middle of that song is to miss something great. By the time he gets to "no more, no more, will you cry"...the f-ing bass is swirling, boards are accenting, horns are are peppering, you realize that youve found a gem that most people will never know about. It aint trying to be a hit, or turn anybody on, its just him funking in his weird, quirky, unique way. How anybody can knock that cut defies logic.I think MeShell Ndgeocello(sp) did some similar sound effect at the end of Outside Your Door and that in no way diminished that glimpse at greatness.
