I could never get into bad dance, everything just seemed too random & the song demanded too much attention for me. Doesn't really go anywhere from what I remember, & I don't remember much... which is never a good sign!

I love listening to Crystal Ball & Automatic and other really long attention grabbing songs like those so I really should like it though. Ah well!

I remember sitting in the parking lot of my high school, before class, in my car with my best friend (and the only other Prince freak in the entire Bon Jovi town school) waiting for Batdance to premiere on the radio.

Yes "Bad Dance" sounds like a terrible song, but batdance is awesome, it's all about me.

Batdance. In my opinion, 200 Balloons is limp, even for a post-peak Prince b-side.

Batdance. Wack? The HELL you say! That shit is fire, particularly the way it seques from the fast-paced, frenetic first half to the slowed-down and funky middle part, then back again. Is the Joker pluggin' y'allz ears up or somethin'?
