Your "Fantasy Band" For PRINCE With all the talk of old members returning to Prince’s band I thought it would be fun to make a “fantasy band” for Prince. Feel free to make yours. I'd like to see other people's choices.
The following are fantastic musicians that I would LOVE to see make up Prince’s band for a world tour.
PRINCE – Lead Guitar, Vocals and Whatever
JOHN TAYLOR – Bass *Bass player for Duran Duran
Nile Rodgers – Rhythm and back up guitar *Former guitarist for Chic
LARRY MULLEN, Jr. – Drums *Drummer for U2
Tori Amos – Piano and Organ
Jan Kincaid – Keyboards *Keyboardist for The Brand New Heavies
Andy Hamilton – Sax *Played with Duran Duran, Elton John, Wham!, Pet Shop Boys, Tina Turner, George Michael, Paul McCartney, Radiohead, Bon Jovi and David Bowie
Mac Gollehon – Trumpet *Played with Duran Duran, David Bowie, Grace Jones, Power Station, Steve Winwood, Laurie Anderson and Mick Jagger

Nice picks here. I would add Michael B on drums and David Bowie's crazy piano player (Mike something). I also think that Tony Levin would be a good bass player option for P too. I would then add Nick Rhodes on keys. It would be killer! And also Maxwell and Remy Shand on backing vocals. | |
