Nationality refers only to the nation in which one was born, and as he was born in the USA that makes him American, or United Statesian, if you prefer.
Of course, I know what you mean (ethnicity), and as far as I know both his parents were African American, but you may well be right, he does look a bit Heinz. Of course one would need to trace the lineage in order to determine exactly how many and which varieties. Which I won't be doing. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP. |

I know he would never do it but I bet Prince's story done the way of "Who do you think you are" would be fascinating. It's a brilliant programme, always full of twists and really brings history to life in a unique way. Go on Prince. Surprise us! | |
