Michaelangelo Matos, who wrote this book about Sign o' the Times, couldn't stop raving about the transition from 'Starfish and Coffee' to 'Slow Love'.

I can't say that transition made any particular impression on me, but I thought it was sort of interesting, the way he kept going on about it...

hmmm, had never heard of that book. i thought the link would be a post of the actual excerpt describing the transition. i'll have to go back and listen, but that doesn't seem to be that great of one from SOTT
