I actually love the way the songs are cut together at the end of PR. Parade is chock fulla excellent segues. So are 1999 and PR. [Edited 10/10/10 15:04pm] "Get up off that grey line"

That Was Prince
Fargnoli says so on the DVD commentary. I LOVE that rough cut/paste job. Listen again SG.. there is definately method in his madness - especially the part where 'When Doves Cry' kicks in. It gives me goose bumps everytime.
Go listen! loudly! You'll never know a girl called Nikki and you'll never find Erotic City

Michaelangelo Matos, who wrote this book about Sign o' the Times, couldn't stop raving about the transition from 'Starfish and Coffee' to 'Slow Love'.
I can't say that transition made any particular impression on me, but I thought it was sort of interesting, the way he kept going on about it...
[EDIT: my (unasked for) vote for best transition between two songs by anyone: 'Girls' into 'Fight For Your Right to Party' by the Beastie Boys. ]
