I listen to that album a lot, my faves are "a million days" and especially "reflection"

I love this album!

I liked the Musicology album, didn't love it. I felt it creative on some points, and then not so great on others. I listen to LOTP, and I think, this song would never inspire a party atmosphere, the words and the drive of the music do not match. HouseQuake is a life of the party song, not this. I felt this was the weakest song on the album.

I felt that Million Days was the strongest song on the album.

What I liked most about the album, was the total packaging. The booklet was cool, and supported the album.

I am of the opinion that 3121 was a step up from Musicology. I once again have to contribute that to the total packaging. The videos were strong, and the twins were hot.

Planet Earth was a good album, and then began to slide down. Good videos, decent promotion. Still had the twins, nice.

Lotus..... This is what happens, I think, when Prince tries to get out of production as cheap as he can. The videos were not great, and the DFM video, though it was assaulted with after effects tricks, had no real energy. Crimson and Clover was not a good cover.

2010 I think is stronger than the Lotus collection music wise, yet Prince has gotten even cheaper. No videos..... yet.... extremely weak prmotion. It is though he expects his name to do everything for him. With that attitude, I think he is not researching the disasters that befall this type of arrogance. He still needs to invest in creative people who can do GOOD work, and stop trying to basement bargain everything.

That's just IMO.

Everyone rags on poor 3121. That CD was so much fun! I love almost (almost!) every track on that CD! I mean, he hadn't put out a CD that great in forever! I'm loving 20ten as well! It isn't as good as 3121, but it's still a really fun CD.

Planet Earth was alright. It's grown on me a bit, but so many ballads. And Musicology. Ugh. Don't even get me started. I think it might be my least favorite CD of his, ever. There is like, maybe one good song. It just gathers dust at my place. One time I decided I was going to give it another chance, gave it a spin again. And wished I hadn't. LOL

BUT, everyone has their favorites/least favorites! One person's love is another person's thorn! That's what makes the world go' round, I suppose!

150 million % agree with both of these posts.

I personally would scratch A Million Days and Illusion from the "great" list, but your other 3 songs are the reason I stick up for Musicology when it gets crapped on around here.

Especially What Do You Want Me To Do.....

3121 = Non bueno for me
