When you listen to a Prince track do any of you try to change/improve upon his lyrics? For example, when I listen to the Beautiful Ones when he starts screaming 'I may not know where I'm going baby' I replace it with ..., 'I may not be so beautiful... I may not be the man of your dreams ...one thing, one thing's for certain baby... I know what I want and that's to please ya baby, tease ya baby...I might as well be dead without you, cuz I need you!!!' For me, it's more poignant and relevant to my experience.

Can you lovely orgers reveal some of your changes please.

I prefer singing "I only wanna feel you in the Purple Rain". Sounds more romantic and spiritual IMO.

Take Me With U - my brother thought the lyric was "I don't care if we stay the night at your MENTION" instead of mansion. I always liked mention and always smile when I hear it.
