There is no dedicated "Prince station" on either Sirius or XM, as far as I know.

On XM, the 80s on 8, Heart and Soul XM 62, and The Groove XM 64 all play Prince - but not on any regular schedule.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

When XM and Sirius merged, it got really white-bread and shitty real fast. I had trouble finding anything worth listening to. I never heard any Prince except for the occasional FM staple hit now and again.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I have / had the same issue. The only saving grace for me was The Groove that played "Housequake," "DMSR," "Erotic City," and a few others. Now, since the merge, they don't play those much either. I write and complain constantly, but it does not seem to help. If it wasn't for SiriusXM Stars, I would cancel my subscription.

I keep hoping and praying that Prince will work with SiriusXM to come up with a channel. If his programming would be anything like the NPGMC Ahdio shows, it would be such a great channel and would appeal to so many different audiences.

I was also hoping they would keep the MJ channel on. When Thriller 25 dropped, they did an all MJ channel where they played all of his work from the J5 to Thriller 25. It was so damn good. It kept me tuning in constantly. I was hearing album tracks and rare b-sides from MJ and it was sooo good.

Springsteen and Jimmy Buffet also have channels. They play their kinds of music as well as air concerts from time to time. Wouldn't that be cool if Prince did that?

You don't unless you're the program director for Sirius XM and can get a deal with Prince to do it. This isn't the same as internet radio. There are a limited number of stations available through Sirius or XM and the content is decided by the company.

You can always email them on their site. I doubt it would help, though.

I know Stevie Wonder was considering doing his own channel at one time. Not sure if he's still thinking about doing it. That would be cool to have a channel playing either ALL Stevie music or music that Stevie loves.

I would love a dedicated sirius station for prince. He certainly has enough catalog to keep it interesting for a long time!

When they had the MJ channel, it was really great. They played 40 years of MJ. Though most only referred to OTW to Invincible, it really made you focus on his catalog by mixing in the solo Motown work and J5 stuff.
