Did Prince ever invite the late rapper, Tupac Shakur to Paisley Park?

I was just curious if anybody knew if Prince ever invited the late rapper, Tupac Shakur

to Paisley Park before his untimely demise. In an old interview I think that was shown

in the documentary "Tupac: Resurrection", Tupac said he should kick it with Prince

because Prince likes women as much as he does. It seems Tupac highly respected Prince

as an artist and I believe Tupac sampled a couple of Prince's songs but i can not remember

which ones? I'm sure they would have something in common, they are both Geminis, with

the exception of Prince being the quiet type and Tupac having being the more vocal of the two. smile

Who knows they probably collaborated together in secret and it's buried in Prince's vault? wink

Tupac has sampled Gigolos Get Lonely Too.

Prince had some sort of friendship with Icecube in the mid 90s ( hence the "...bought a house next to Prince " lyric and later sample). I also heard back then that Tupac has indeed met Prince in MN but the folks I heard it from are not always 100% reliable ( not because they´re liars but simply because they´re not that much into Prince, just happen to know people in his circle).

Tupac was also a Gemini. wink

Yes. Tupac Shakur was at Glam Slam on Sep 25, 1993. Prince then threw a party at Paisley Park after Glam Slam closed and invited Tupac and his people out there. It was not Prince's type of crowd and he didn't appear at the party. They were a rowdy bunch!

Tupac samples Prince's "Pop Life" from "Around The World In A Day." Tupac called his sampled song, "Pac Life."

I was gonna say that I didn't think Tupac would be the type Prince would associate with...

Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. Is there anything else to say? lol

He sampled "Darling Nikki" on "Heartz of Men" from his All Eyez On Me album also, but it is spelled Darling Nicki in the liner notes.

Ice Cube directed 2 videos for Prince around 2003. They got along fine, but both videos now reside in the vault....with the rest of the videos that are filmed with huge budgets, but then never released.......which is..a large number

Really? I only know of one video that Icecube directed, and that was the video for Lovesign, which was released in 1994. In that video you can see Prince reading an issue of Vibe magazine with Icecube on the cover.

Who cares? He's dead.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

No, Tupac was not gay! lol

In the documentary, Tupac was saying since he loves women so much

he should hang out with Prince because he is a philogynist ( a person

that loves/admires women).

Yes, they were smoking weed in the halls and knocking pics off the wall. Another time he had Naughty By Nature out at Paisley Park, Prince was around for that one. DJ Kay Gee spun some records. Good times!

I am not real positive on the dates but I know Cube directed at least 1 more video around 2003, and it wasn't released
