By 13 minute version, you mean a live version. It's not a 12 inch as there is no known circulating version other than the released one.

No, it wasn't a 'live' version. This 13+ minute mix was posted on Facebook by a friend of mine. Maybe it was from some kind of 'import'.

There's a fan-made extended version circulating. It manages to syphon off a lot of the energy and excitement of the song by just mindlessly making the song longer.

I heard different musical elements on the extended mix that aren't on the original. In other words, the song wasn't 'looped' over & over again.

The 13 min version thats been circulating for the last 10 years is a fan mix (and a bad one).

What do mean by 'import'? There's only one officially released version, that's the b-side to WDC (and on the Hits/B-Sides).

There are several live and rehersal versions and fan-made 'extended' versions that loop parts.

No longer studio version is circulating.

Unfortunately there isn't a longer studio version of this song (deja thread, btw ). That 13 minute mix is fan made. I used to have it but deleted all versions of it long ago. I could have sworn there was a SLIGHTLY longer recorded version. But after the last thread discussing this I did some checking and I think I was just remembering a rehearsal version.

i'm 99.99% certain the OP Is referring to the fan made version on looptopia, called 17 days (bambis midnight ball). a loop is a loop is another fan made mix cd from around the same time

I had made a 6:09 version (I did a few things similar to what they did for 'Let's Work' - like repeating 4 bars of the intro instead of two etc.). I also added little subtle things to make it sound as 'official' as possible.

I think it came out pretty well, and I had mistakenly posted a link to listen to it here a while back (I thought it was OK because you couldn't easily download it).

What you heard was that Looptopia fan-made mix.

That version is not official. It's probably from HiRizeBear's Looptopia, where he did some fun extended mixes. The 12" is the same as the 7" version which is the same as on The Hits/The B-sides. HiRizeBear is on the Org.
