He put a small business making his custom canes out of business from not paying his bills. I don't think they would work with him again.

That's all just a rumor!! Stop spreading it like you know it for a fact!! People say all kinds of stuff to sell a story! This company probably didn't know how to run a business. How do you know all these things were true though? Because more than 1 person said it? How do we know there wasn't some mishap with the accountant? Or Prince really didn't think he owed them anything? Sometimes people settle to get the mess over with. Just saying...

How do you know he doesn't keep up with his money? He seems to be exceptionally interested in where his money is going and where its coming from given he speaks extensively about it in interviews over the last 20 years. What would lead you to believe that Prince simply allows someone else to handle everything until he is mysteriously dragged into court? Do you think that these situations all occurred in the same year? We're talking about decades of time worth of conflicts with people about payment. Barring certain events, Prince and his fanbase owe each other nothing because we exist in an instantaneous transaction environment. He releases product, we purchase. He plays at venue, we buy tickets. It's very black and white. Therefore, it is perfectly within the realm of acceptability that people complain about the method in which his business dealings are handled because it directly affects us as business associates of his.

This coming from the person posting the rumor that Prince's mother was a Jehovah's Witness and her dying wish was that Prince become a Witness.

I heard the good Brothers and Sisters at the Kingdom Hall paid them for Prince.

I really don't think Prince pays any attention to his financial affairs, that's the job of his accountants and tax advisors. With the money that he has, its probably tied up a lot in investments. If you ask me his accountants/tax advisors collaborated for Prince's benefit

If you're waiting for an investment to mature with a growth interest to cover the tax fine handsomely, it makes sense to default on taxes and pay the fine, than put the investment return under penalties for early withdrawal. There's no way Prince will keep that kind of money in a current account, bank interest is a joke.

So I gather the shrewd accountants and tax advisors made more money in his late tax payments, (even including the tax fine) by waiting for the maturity date of another investment.

But these kind of complex transactions which deal with millions are not always comprehensible for everyone. One thing is sure, it has nothing to do with Prince not opening his post, or deliberately not paying his taxes. It's just business.

Typical rhetoric from some Prince non fans on here who feel they are superior. Sad and Lonely people.

We only see coincidences.

He loses a few things (Croke Park, some perfume deal, and some more) and soon thereafter we see a micro-tour with slightly expensive tickets. (contrasting with cheap 2007 O2-tickets)

The tour ends and soon afterwards he pays even more delinquent stuff, settles a case, etc.
