Last album ever? That don't ever sound right with "Prince". I don't think P will ever stop making music. I mean come on... you don't just stop doing what you love because it's getting old. Since subtlety is getting lost in the mix, would it seem fitting for Prince to die tomorrow and 20TEN be the last album he released.

That doesn't mean he'll release it. If his stories are true, he has NOT released more than he has released..

OK. Then I believe Prince will always be RELEASING music. Maybe even after he's stopped recording it. As I said on the last page, your meaning behind this thread is a bit lost on me. In regards to your question about 20ten being a "fitting" last album, I think he's released worse in the last decade. So it wouldn't bother me at all if 20ten was the last one.

Also, Prince has definitely recorded more than he's released. I think I have more unreleased songs than the total of those officially released and I'm quite certain I don't have them all.

I think 20Ten would be a fitting final album but I think he's way too creative to stop making albums. I'm sute he has many new albums in him for years to come. Probably he will still release a new album every year or perhaps a little less often. But no way he will stop making new music.

IF he dd stop, there's always the vault to dig from to release "new" albums.

I LOVE 20Ten, but don't want it to be the last one! I would be so....empty w/o new Prince music! I think Prince has to go out with a bang! Meaning give me another perfect masterpiece like Purple Rain(song for song, absolute perfection)...then I'll let him retire in peace.

That doesn't mean he'll release it. If his stories are true, he has NOT released more than he has released..

Which means we WILL indeed then keep getting new Prince music....initially new ablums released until he's passed (hopefully 50yrs from now) and then after that the vault! So it will essentially be "Prince will continue to make new music..."

I would want his last to be something very eccentric. You know like The Rainbow Children. Totally noncommercial and the send off of an artist. Not a popstar.
