I have a bootleg version of this track, not excellent quality but it's quite good.

I love this song. It's just Prince and a piano - singing in his falsetto about a love that's dying.

It touches me everytime I hear it. Does anybody else like it and/or do u know the story behind this song?
Who it may be about? When it was recorded? What album was it intended 4 (if at all)?

1 of my favourite ballads , this song is high on emotion.
THis song was intended 4 the "I'll do anything" film and was taped by Prince in a hotel room in April 1992 while on the diamonds and pearls tour in Australia.

Is there anywhere I can read the lyrics to this song...I have never heard of it?

The song 'i love u, but i don't trust you anymore' from Rave un2 the joy fantastic is very similar and I'm sure it is loosely based on 'i can't love u anymore'. I hope this means that he will still release the original version though as it is far superior!!! Unless WB own it because he wrote all the 'I'll do anything' songs for them. That's why he used 'my little pill' and 'rest of my life' on the vault album for warners (?)
