In the Beautiful Strange video, where Prince and Stanky Spice are sitting on the swing set next to the main building is the rough location of a restaurant/jazz eatery that was constructed but never utilized as intended. The once white exterior is now covered in rust stains from deteriorated window sills. It probably has Prince's weed trimmer and snow shovels stored there now.

I think this is a very interesting thread (and I have no intention of trying to stalk Prince, especially at houses that no longer exist). Obviously I've seen photos of Paisley Park, but I appreciate the slightly more candid pictures posted here. It's also cool to see his old houses; places that inspired or are where he recorded some of his classic songs. I don't think it's creepy at all...I mean I can find street level views of my own house on Google maps. Hell, Prince even posted photos of the 3121 house in the CD interior!

I also think it would be cool to see interiors of Sunset Sound from the early 80s. I have a picture in my mind sometimes of Prince laying down those classic cuts, and it would be fascinating (to me) to see the the studios where it actually happened.

There was no house on property 1. It is all land, some of which can be seen in the pic I posted. The pic I posted was from Google Earth, before the house was tore down. So needless to say it was out there for the world to see. Besides, Prince flaunted it in the Gett Off housestyle video and in Gangster Glam. His house in LA at the time can be seen in the Zannalee video, inside and out. I could see some of the complaints being valid about giving the addresses out if he still lived there, but he doesn't. At least we're not putting it out there where he lives now, or pics...so settle down people.

What does the exterior comprise of? To me it looks like concrete or, something fibrous.

I was told it's human skin, but my sources are most likely incorrect. Actually, it probably is poured concrete. It doesn't have the shine that the main building's panels do.

I think those buildings may appear tired on Google Earth, as they seem to have a series of photos taken in Late March, at a time when the snow has melted, and the sun is quite high in the sky (So it dosen't look wintry like say Late November). Yet its still too cold for grass growth and spring colour (Minneapolis in late March has an average temperature of 4c) This creates a stark looking prospect and therefore any industrial building is going to look gloomy a la Detroit.
