Prince's highest (non-falsetto) vocal? Seems like he either sings in his semi-deep natural register or the highest falsetto. Has he ever sung in a higher pitch like Stevie Wonder? I'm sure he could. I can hear it sometimes when he layers harmonies.

Dont think so, thats probably why he came up with Camile.
Where would you put Take Me With You?

That's a good question. I'm trying to pick out the voices on that one right now. Prince definitely does the low part but I think he sang Apollonia's high-mid range part too, no? It sounds doubled or strengthened.
That's the highest that's coming to my mind too. Good pick.

The song Solo comes to mind. He's all over the place vocally. TRUE BLUE

Solo is mostly falsetto anyway. Not a great example.
Raspberry Beret might be closer to what you're looking for.

Let me quote myself from a similar thread: _ _ _
Prince's highest comfortable chest-voice note seems to be a G. You can find a couple of those on pretty much every album, and he does them quite frequently in concerts too.
Then there's a few rare occasions where he reaches an A flat, for example: "Still Would Stand All Time" (so much you will show...) "Feel Better, Feel Good, Feel Wonderful" (we'll keep feedin' U, but first thing's first)
Or even an A: "It" (I think about it baby all the time...and all similar lines) "The Love We Make" (for in this new world...)
These are just off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more as well. _ _ _
Stevie Wonder's chest-voice range is much, much higher than Prince's - at least a 5th or so.

Yes, very good call on "It". I guess he didn't feel completely in command of it like his falsetto so he rarely used it but for that song he probably wanted that barely in control performance.

Do you know what non-falsetto means?
