LOL Larry!! If my memory serves me correct, I believe there were pics of Mayte with a spanish dancer. Or some sightings or whatever when she moved to Spain... I believe it went something like Prince threw himself into work and Mayte threw herself into the arms of another man b/c Prince wasn't there for her. Its all speculation though, but would make sense.. A woman needs comforting after such a loss, so if she can't get it from her husband, she may turn to another. I don't think she should have done that, that was the worst thing she could have done IMO b/c that could have been the breaking point..but who knows. I think they were both hurting and confused and messed up. It happens, life goes on. Until I hear something differently from either of them, I assume that's what happened...

I agree...it's horrible, couples move away from each other when they should be drawing nearer to each other and to GOD. I believe Prince realized that he needed to make a change and draw nearer to GOD. And I've heard, I repeat heard, his mother asked him to become a JW. Losing his parents and son could have all been related to him becoming a JW. Tragedy tends to make me seek out GOD...

You seem perfectly happy to consider and repeat and even invent scenarios for why/how Mayte may have cheated but choose to ignore all the evidence of Prince's illicit conquests. There's a lot more about Prince's cheating out there than ANYthing you'll find on Mayte or his others girlfriends/wives. You can't believe that Mani might wear Mayte's dress under Prince's approval but are perfectly ready to believe Mayte to have cheated based on a photo of her dancing with another professional dancer or a song Prince wrote. If "sightings" of Mayte and a supposed lover are enough then the same, and there's certainly more than that, with Prince should be enough as well.

Seems you are quick to believe the negative rumors about Prince...I'm not. I have not found anything really about Prince cheating, that wasn't linked to this site! As I said, if Mani wore Mayte's clothes, I'd believe it if I saw a pic. But I haven't seen a pic. I can believe Mayte had something with a dancer b/c I've seen pics..not going by a rumor. You don't know which of his songs are factual or not! I never assumed some songs were factual and others were false just b/c I wanted too. Head and Sister could be true...what's your point? I can believe positives and negatives about Prince when its validated..and he writes it about himself, then quite possibly it is true. Are you denying that some of his songs are indeed factualy and inspired by his life directly? Prince has some of the most heartfelt songs, even some of his songs that aren't "ballads" have very powerful loving lyrics...

No, I didn't believe "I Love You..." was true b/c I wanted too...I believed it b/c it SEEMED factual, regarding all the pain he and Mayte were going through at the time that the song came out. How hard is this concept? The man was struggling to get through that song when he sang it at Montreaux! You could see the pain in him when he sang it! Like I said...somebody inspired that song! Some of his other songs seem very factual to me also, and it is "well known" that some of the songs(IIWYG, Pink Cashmere) were inspired by actual events, why do you assume this one wasn't?

If the stories about Mayte not calling him, etc are true (I can't say 100%)..then yes I find that very odd. I'm sure somewhere in Prince's head, he thought this was justifiable.
