This is the firs time I am seeing this video and it is a bit disturbing. First to have his future wife acting out a role of his ex girl is a bit mental and some of his moves are well.......whatever.

Didn't know it was about Carmen though. Must have been some ego blow because I do love this song.

I got the very weird feeling about it too. Just kind of rubbed me the wrong way. But whatever. Prince looked absolutely GORGEOUS in the video. I'm not sure I've ever seen him embody "perfection" so much. I really like the video when I don't think too much about it. And I love when Prince says "Right now I hate you so much I wanna make love.." and when he turns his head, Yummy! He is so sexy in the video, especially when he stands over her and she is down on her knees. Hmmm Prince and this song are GREAT!!

What I've read/heard was that she cheated on him for a dancer instructor because Prince wasn't paying her any attention after their tragedy, then Prince got mad, got the annulement but couldn't let go, so there whole "spiritual marriage" was just for him to be able to move on which is why she was living in Spain and he was still in the US. Reminds me of that interview he did back in the day saying with this new spiritual marriage he wasn't so possessive about people "touching his wife" and now he was free to be intimate with others (though he added physicality had nothing to do with his being intimate). IDK, just the video was weird for me considering what happened to him and her. I heard the song was about Carmen, but the video is completely seperate and I find it creepy!

Yeah I read about that thing with the dancer .. but this was already after Mani had been seen in or around Paisley Park walking around in Mayte clothes and getting it on with Prince. This is why they had bought the house in Spain, so that Mayte would be out of the way while he was hanging out with Mani in MN.

The most important line you wrote was "as far as we know..." Yes, those are all just rumors, we don't know anything definate. By well documented, you mean people have said it and spread it. This has NOTHING to do with man/woman. It has to do with the one that has the money and the one that doesn't. I'd say the same thing about a woman if she were the one with the money. The truth of the matter is, people allow celebs to do whatever they want, and unless the celeb is different (which I believe Prince is), then they will act however they want to (ie. Hugh Hefner and all his women). I'm not saying Prince has the "I can do whatever I want when it comes to women" attitude. I'm simply saying, if he wanted to, he could.

The fact that Prince has been a serial womanizer and engaged in sexual activities with multiple women concurrently, even when engaged (Susannah) and/or married (Mayte) is well known. Even some of the parties involved have spoken up. I don't care if you believe it but such displays of naivety are shocking if you take even a moment to research.
