Well, Purple and Gold are both really pretty colors and perhaps he thought they looked good together! I can't explain it...somebody thought it was a cool song, 3 people voted for it on that greatest Prince songs survey....I wonder if Prince liked it, or was he just releasing it? Wonder if the Vikings liked it? OK, IDK! Not my favorite song by him...but I wonder if it's my worst? I will have to think on that one... Let's just call it a bump in the road, a reminder of how awesome his other songs really are?
