It might be reaching a bit far, but the slap bass track (unusual for a song like this) along with the 80's sounding synths give a hint of that Prince sound.

Also the playfully sexual lyrics.

The most overt refrence thouggh would be not to Prince, but to Stevie Wonder.

In the closing few seconds before the end of the song, the vocal riff of "californiaaa....california girls", is done to the melody of "Isnt She Lovely".

I can kinda hear the house influence. I'm tryin REALLY hard to find Prince.

I only hear Hot-n-cold song when I hear California gurls it's like a mix of the same song.

Just like Waking up in Vegas reminds of Teenage Dream.

I can hear the playful "I wanna Be Your Lover" influence in the track... Guitar on the the down beat... simple and fun!

I can hear 80's influence, but no Prince.. And maybe because of it's 80's sound I quite like this song.
