what if: prince tour with new songs? what if prince decided to do a world tour playing just songs from the last ten years....would you go and see it and if so...what would be your ideal setlist ?... | |

If I went to a Prince concert and that was the setlist, afterwards I would go home, get in the tub, and pop open a vein.
Having to watch "Dance 4 Me", "Laydown", "Electric Man", "$", a version of "Little Red Corvette" that is EVEN SLOWER than the original.... It just sounds immensely boring and tragic. | |

He should really do this. I love his live output but i just feel like why is he ignoring such a huge catalog. I think if he was to push the new songs live more then more people who really just came to hear the hits might get turned on to them. I think on Ellen in 2009 he should have done Dance 4 Me because that song could have been a hit if promoted right. Instead he did Crimson and Clover. That makes no sense to me. He needs to Lay Down Lets Go Crazy for a little while to. I would love to hear a comprehensive live show of material of the last ten years. NO HITS! | |

give me a gold experience tour a ona tour again then i'll go see him live again ..tired of the hits but hey i'm saving money by not going 2 his boring shows of today man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |

That would be the best thing he could do for most of the fans, for himself, his music and probably for the critics too.

If he would do songs from Rave - present, that would be a good show, but not necessarily a "Prince" experience that most people would enjoy.
He hasn't had a lot of radio/fan hits over the last 10 - 11 years. Many people here despise that he became a JW and constantly complain how he "preaches".
