someone did post a pic of a japanese rec.store with a display full of 20ten releases...anyone has a link as i cant find the pic anymore. thanks

I saw the pic too but forget where. BTW, I saw 20Ten for sale here in Australia the other day at a big chain store (JB Hifi). The exact same cardboard sleeve as the European release, but at a ridiculous price of $34! Seems there may be some import/distribution deal to Australia/Japan afterall?

last year, lotusflow3r was about to get a Japanese release as well. That never happened afaik

$34 for a single cd in a card sleeve is very painful.

it can still be ordered from the daily mirrors website from the uk for about 4 pounds....anyone who pays 34 dollars for the cd is off their head...

Indeed bob, i wonder how many copies they still have left? hehe. I still have 9, 10 i think........

Of course I didn't buy it as I already had some friends in Europe send me some copies when it was released. But the $34 price here is clearly to allure the unsuspecting casual fan who has no idea of the European release. There has been absolutely zero Prince promotion here in Oz since the 3121 'golden ticket' competition. I'm sure some sucker will pay it.

I have seen it in a New Zealand chain store too, for $28.

I googled a bit but could not find a link mentioning a Japan 20ten release or the picture you refer to.
