The only official Lovesexy tour release was Lovesexy Live 1 & 2. It was filmed at West Fallenhalle, Dortmund Germany on 9th Sept 1988. It was released on 19th April 1989 on VHS, Betamax and LaserDisc. No official DVD release exists.

The Glam Slam video was shot during Lovesexy tour rehearsals at Paisley Park in May 1988. Not at a concert.

For sure! That made 3 Lovesexy shows and one aftershow in Minneapolis in 1988. If only I had
moved here 3 years earlier! TRUE BLUE

This video was also Steve Parke's first gig as an artist for Prince. He painted the stage and designed some of the set over a sleepless 3-day spread.

There was only 2 nights of Lovesexy (back at the Met?) I saw both shows. The second show wasn't even close to selling out so they gave away seats. I had 1st row and I think 8th row for the 2 shows.

Anybody know what the deal was having the Gameboyz dancing in the rafters? I just never got that. Btw Tony danced terribly in that vid... Damon Dickson: Is it hair, a hat, or a dead cat?

I meant with the show at Paisley Park in May after the Glam Slam video shoot, the two Met Center shows, and the aftershow at Paisley Park after the first Met Center show. Do you remember anything about Wendy, Lisa, Susannah, Jill Jones, or George guesting on stage? DETAILS please! It's a shame he couldn't sell out his hometown. I went to the 3rd Lovesexy show in Chicago, and all three were sold out. TRUE BLUE

There are no details that i have about the performance after the Glam Slam video shoot. The aftershow after the first Met Center gig was held in the Paisley Park parking lot under huge tents, because the sound stage had been rented out for rehearsals of the Muppets Stage Show. Guests on stage at this gig included George Clinton, for a cover of "Walking The Dog," Mavis Staples sang "I'll Take You There," and Wendy & Lisa joined the band for "Girls & Boys" and "Cold Sweat." Other guests in the audince included Prince's mother Mattie, Miles Davis, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Bobby Z, and Brown Mark. There were complaints about the loud music which ended the show at 3.50am. There was no aftershow after the second Met Center gig, but at this show, George Clinton came on stage for a cover version of Funkadelics (Not Just) Knee Deep, he was joined onsatge by Jill Jones and Tony LeMans. And during Purple Rain, Prince was joined by Wendy & Lisa.
