The two Let`s Go Crazy videos Does anyone remember that their were two Let`s Go Crazy videos in 1984, the official one and also the one that had a huge amount off deleted scenes.

I only remember the official one, and the trailer which had a lot of deleted scenes in it, and played LGC

Both the music video and the theatrical trailer (has let's go crazy playing) includes brief clips of deleted scenes from the movie.

I think you must be getting confused.
There was only one video for Let's Go Crazy.
There was also the trailer for the movie, which happened to use Let's Go Crazy as the music, but that wasn't an alternate 'video'. And of course there's the actual opening section of the movie with the song as well.

It was no trailer my friend, it was to long and had no narration over it. Maybe it did`nt play in your part of town, in Oakland, California it had heavy rotation.

If anyone would know, it'd be Boris. That doesn't mean that someone couldn't have taken the trailer and redubbed the song over it for a video, but there was only 1 video release.

Yeah, I seem to remember an extended and shorter edit of the video. Same with the video for America. MTV (and other video shows) would play the 3 min version or the longer depending on their programming time constraints.

I'd like to see some evidence of this.
Prince has had several videos where there are two versions, usually a 'full length' version and an 'edit'. However, these are all pretty well documented, even for the more obscure points in his career. So for someone to suddenly say that there was a second version of the Let's Go Crazy video, a video made at the very pinnacle of Prince's popularity, a video that has never been mentioned or documented before in the last 26 years... well, I am understandably extremely skeptical.

Agreed. Even the videos that have had no official release (i.e. I Hate U, I Like It There, The Same December) are well known to a lot of fans. I find it very hard to believe there was a 2nd video of Let's Go Crazy that hardly anyone seems to know about, and never included on any "list of" Prince videos in books and such. I'm not saying I don't believe it, just give us more evidence. TRUE BLUE

You don't have it because it doesn't exist.
