What Graffiti Bridge is really about!!!! Ok, so I am being a sarcastic idiot to a point here, and borrowing from myself on a previous post...but after years of being confused about what was going on in GB...I figured it out:
G Bridge Plot Summary:
It is a movie about how Morris Day likes to use Hot Peppers as weird props, and really thinks the last name of Baseball Player Robin Yount is very funny. Morris battles the Kid or something, and uses a magic keyboard to sample Prince singing "Release It" way off key.
Somehow said magic keyboard takes Prince's off key singing and quickly turns it into Prince's great falsetto instantly.
They battle, and some moron complains that he should get to rap. Some Angel appears out of nowhere babbling about this and that, and it is never really explained. Then that Angel gets killed by a Jeep years before Prince actually kills the Internet. The Kid sings Still Would Stand All Time, and everybody is happy.
My favorite band U2 were involved in a movie almost as confusing as our Purple Yoda's Bridge: Million Dollar Hotel was written by Bono, and I have yet to make it to the ending. I have no idea what the movie is about, and it doesn't help that the lead character is mumbling and very quiet the whole damb movie....Yes...BATTLE OF THE AWFUL MOVIES...
In this corner grossing 4.5 million....Graffiti Bridge...and over there: Bono...with the Hundred Dollar Hotel...grossing TWENTY NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS....
Damb...I just did a Wiki Search to find this...I just found a crappy movie that did worse than BRIDGE!!!! And the fucker cost 8 million to make. Bridge only cost 6 million, so it did not lose that much...HAHAHAHAHAHA

Not ok to reply to my own post, but was too lazy to click edit. I Correct myself. TEN DOLLAR HOTEL...made $60,000 at the box office...and...
This quote from Mel Gibson, who produces and somewhat acts in this turkey:
Mel Gibson said, "I thought it was as boring as a dog's ass."
He later explained:
Well, to make matters worse...The "Soundtrack" to this dog ate up a few great songs that would have made U2's "All That You Can't Leave Behind" much better....and maybe a legendary album. In fact...Stateless, and The Ground Beneath Her Feet were what they LEFT BEHIND...great songs on a soundtrack to a movie I am sad to admit I saw half of before breaking the DVD in half. See Prince can't beat Bono when it comes to writing bad movies!!!!
(HAD to edit my stupid mistake calling it the Ground Beneath her FEAT...when it is feet! Damb!) [Edited 8/28/10 10:53am]

Right ! Million dollar hotel was not the best film of the decade but as least, it was made by a proper director... "open your heart, open your mind
A train is leaving all day..."

Well Bridge Made 4.5 million, and Hotel made 60 THOUSAND. It is difficult for a film to do that bad. Trust me, both are HORRIBLE...but to have the lead character mumbling with MUFFLED audio...that is just crazy!

for me it is about the art of diplomacy and how to fight the good fight in a harmless way.
she taught him how to become a peaceful warrior, and how that is the path to resolution of conflict. this too shall pass

graffiti bridge had a great soundtrack, though the film itself was a little corny, but good fun

It's really a disgrace that some people think they can do it all just because they are rock stars.

Could never get into GB. Except for the music, the movie bored me to tears. Hey...

it is also symbolic and was a futuristic statement of how many people would diss his music
"kid...(this spiritual thang aint' workin')
how many Mo'ris don't we have here at the org stating this line,
and the same way the Kid got to keep Glam Slam in the movie,
nobody can take away his funk and blessing, which is to make music his own way
