So I just watched this video of prince performing Shhh...I'm really not sure if it was a music video released..but he's performing in a concert setting, Mayte is dancing...and Nona Gaye is watching them on TV and she is getting aroused as she watches Prince, so much so that she starts making out with her pillow...then the performance ends and Prince takes Mayte behind a cloth screen and they start making out and Nona is looking at the T.V screen with tears running down her face...there was more but that's where the video ended for me....I just thought it was so funny.....because that is supposedly how it happened in real life.....Prince leaving her for Mayte.....does anyone know what this video was...was this after he dumped Nona and proposed to Mayte or was this while he was dating them all at the same time..poor Nona..she seemed to be really taken with him..

that is from the beautiful experience tv special....it was shown on sky in the uk....just thought it was nona character getting into the song....dont know if it was meant to mean more...

To me it was just a bunch of shit hot video's of Prince and band doing their thing, the "plot" between the songs was just a distraction imo.

The film is 70 mins in length.

It would be nice to see this kind of thing get an official release, but like a lot of good Prince video's it is quite unlikely that this will see the light of day.

You can get it on bootleg though.

yea i know it would....I wish Prince and his management would wise up and acknowledge the fact that he has still has a lot of dedicated fans...old and new.... who would love releases like this....if his major tours, tv specials and so on were officially and legally released...he would make a lot of us very happy..i'd be the type that would buy two copies of everything..just in case...

Um no. That's not how it supposedly went in real life. I'm not sure who told you that, but Prince had been with Mayte for quite some time by the time that was even recorded.

Yeah, Prince was also dating Carmen Electra at the same time. And Troy Beyer. Paula Abdul was rumored around the same time. The list goes on. Nona turned 18 in 1992. It shouldn't be depicted as some sort of grand, Mayte-and-Prince-gallop-from-the-altar-where-Nona-stands-in-the-dusty-wind.

ok..dont know how it went down in real life..but Nona herself said in some interviews that he was dating her (dont know if she was really oblivious to the fact that he was dating carmen, mayte and who knows who else at the same time) and told ppl he was going to marry her but shortly thereafter Mayte was flashing an engangement ring from him at a concert and that she was crushed...but she had forgiven him and moved on....so I was relating that situation to this mini movie concert or whatever it was

I was around at the time and there were also several "non famous" regulars of his floating around up until 1995. More non famous than famous. It did seem odd that Mayte never was at Glam Slam the same time Prince was, only Carmen and his other bevy of beauties.
