I mailed a letter to Prince but he didn't reply back. What should I do? Should I send him another letter?
Was it a collections notice? Or perhaps payment over due?
Side bar:Oddly enough, I had his fax number in 1987. I never contacted the man. But that's just me. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment |

The fax number is on the paisley park website. Do it. What is your main problem?

I wrote Prince a letter back in 1985 when I was 13. I got a postcard back and was enrolled in his fanclub. |

It's un4na8 that Prince doesn't answer his fanmail anymore...I suppose he's overwhelmed by so much mail that he's ceased 2 answer it...I've wanted 2 4 years send him something...a drawing...2 tell him how much I love him and his work....but in the end I never did because I read that he never replies his fanmail...and that Paisley Park is flooded by it so much that bills get lost and payments bcome overdue! I don't want 2 make u loose hope or b the opposing voice here but I wouldn't place 2 much hope on ever receiving a reply from him. Good luck! |

when i was 16 years old i sent my poetry book to paisley park and i recieved a response from gilbert davidson asking me to send more of my work, that prince may be interested in it. so i did so, but then i never heard anything again. some years later i e-mailed back and forth with tommy b. when he was with greazy meal and he told me to mail him my poems, and i did. and that was a wonderful experience. he was so kind to me, and gave me great advice that i followed. what a nice guy! so i say, if you are 12 years old, go for it, you never know, you just might get a response? |

Everyone suggesting that you send a 'J' or a 'G' or an 'X', etc... is playing on the word 'letter' - ie. mailing him the letter 'J' rather than a written letter

The "G" is left out of the letters recited in Alphabet Street. |

Personally, I'm so relieved there are still people in this world (particularly in the next generation) who still write letters.
Also, as I understand it, you're a 35yo man on a fansite telling a 12 year old girl to get a life.

Live your dreams and if you want a reply, keep writing. Maybe post the letter this time in a big box. That way it might get more attention. Good luck. "Free URself, B the best that U can B, 3rd Apartment from the Sun, nothing left to fear" Prince Rogers Nelson - Forever in my Life - |

Prince doesn't respond to fanmail, period. He might read it, or he might not, but he doesn't ever answer (obviously he wouldn't have the time to do it even if he wanted to, just try to imagine the amount of fanmail someone as famous as he is probably receives).
I'd say that u have more chances of him reading it by posting its content here or on Moquake than by sending it to him
Prince has so many people loving him, how could he possibly respond to all of Us? IMO, Prince sends out enough love with his music that no one should feel jilted. |
