Obviously Prince was the first to think about the simularities or he would not have put the "purple Yoda" line in a song. I wonder what he would add to the list, surely something.

Frank Oz is the voice/operator of both Miss Piggy and Yoda. Prince was on the Muppets Tonight.

Odd, and funky maybe, that Prince didn't use something that actually sounded like Yoda "singing" in the song; rather than the high-pitched "Yoda" singing. Maybe it's a baby Yoda singing in a high pitched female like voice. It's funky though.
