Can anyone give me some more in-depth info on this npg-album? It seems hard to find also.

It's official. Hard to find because it's not available on CD by itself, only as part of the 5 disc edition of Crystal Ball, although it was initially released on cassette.

Somehow, I have two versions of Kamasutra (boot collections). One is "Brave New World". On Brave New World, Kamasutra is a series of Overtures (instrumentals) and a few Madhouse instrumentals as well as Xpectation songs.

I don't have a copy myself, but I'd take a guess that it's a straight transfer from the cassette version since that was the first version available (which makes it more a pirate copy than a bootleg). AFAIK there's no difference between it and retail versions in terms of tracks.

Well actually, on the "Kamasutra" compilation; there were Madhouse and Xpectation tracks added. On "Brave New World" 51 hours, 5 Women '95 and a few other tracks were added to this compilation.

I had that at one time. It only contains the first four tracks from the Kamasutra ballet taken from a cassette sampler provided to guests at their wedding.

I believe there are two versions of this, though. Of the full-length Kama Sutra album, that is. The official Crystal Ball version and another "unreleased" full-length version. But I detest it so much that I can't force myself to sit down and do a complete track to track, album to album comparison.

Having listened to a few tracks from this, I've deduced that it's the biggest pile of arse that I've had the misfortune to subject my ears to!!!!!!! Although the book's a cracking read (if you're fit and supple), but I don't think it has anything to do with this

Bwaaahahaha!! It does kinda have this horror film vibe to it doesn't it? I'm still like WTF at making cutting scissors an instrument. Certainly creative tho, I can't lie.

Kamasutra isn't horrible, but it's not something I pull out like "Oh lemme listen to this."
