sorry if this has been covered, but the intro to Lavaux sounds like the Pointer Sisters "Automatic" - you can hear "No way to control it .... it's totally automatic - whenever your around"

It almost sounds like a DeBarge cover of the Pointer Sisters Automatic .... good thing it changes soon after.

Maybe I did it wrong - searching for Pointer Sisters did not show much - must be impatient.....

It probably has been brought up. We talked about it on my radio show, too. I had never picked up on that until someone said it, then I totally heard it.

But between the two - I'd listen to The Pointer Sisters anyday. That song is CLASSIC. In five years, folks probably won't be singing "Lavaux". Sad, but true.

But yeah, totally hear the similarity.

In five years? I went off the song after 5 minutes!! Not one of his best tunes. Agree with the Pointer Sisters though, I love Automatic.
