Sorry if this has been mentioned. I personally love this song. It's upbeat and it's really catchy too. On a scale from 1-10 , what would you guys give it? Oh, i actually saw the video about two days ago, Nona Gaye is beautiful and that was the smallest I've ever seen Prince, does anyone agree?

I wish Prince had released, in the mid-90s, an album full of this kind of dark-sexy funk/modern R&B tracks...Come had some cheesy & upbeat dance tracks, like Loose, that completely destroyed the flow of the album...

Nope. The Crystal Ball remix uses samples from DMSR. The Work has an unreleased version, also found on this boot:

It's called Ted's Funky Chariot Mix and is the complete remix of an edited version that was part of the NPGMC Ahdio Show downloads. "Ted" is Teddy Riley.

The songs on the above bootleg were supposed to be on an official EP. They're really cool if you like the song, but the sound quality isn't that great. Maybe there's better copies of these songs since this boot was released, but I haven't found them.

Lovesign would fit well in on the Come album imo.

Cool song! I saw Prince and Nona do it at a Glam Slam show, there's a boot out there with it on there. I believe they also sang it live on some morning show at the time.

It was sung live on The Today Shoe live with Bryant Gumbel(a big Prince fan)

It was sung on The Today Shoe live with Bryant Gumbel(a big Prince fan). This song would have been a big hit if The WB approved of Prince releasing it. But after the mega hit song TMBGITW. WARNERS STOPPED IT FROM BEING RELEASED. Nona Gaye was so beautiful in the video. The video fit the song. Unlike most Prince videos. Ice Cube should have won best director for this.

Love sign releases :

I give it a 10, one of my favorite Prince songs. Not only is her voice gorgeous but his voice perfectly complements hers, plus a positive message, plus funky music, especially in the crystal ball version. I'm not as fond of the "pop pop pop go the pistol..." phrase on other versions.
