at this point,does it even matter? A good portion of Prince's US fans already have a copy of the album,in some form or another.

Hello 2 ALL, Keep in mind those times when Prince was not touring in the U.S., his albums always still were release in the U.S. So just a little patience PEOPLE. It will be release in the U.S.

Militant I hope you're right. The album as it was released overseas is mediocre at best. Prince working on improving the album for U.S. release would be nice. Somehow I managed to get two copies of 20ten, one part of the newspaper, the other attached to Rolling Stone, and one was more than enough. I'd still buy the U.S. release if there's a possibility of improvements/additions to it.

I hope it does get a release in the US for the following reasons...

1. It will hopefully stop a lot of Americans bleating like babies that Prince does not care about the US anymore.

2. It will hopefully stop the other Americans who are pretending that they think the album is shit, and that they do not care about it because of the lack of a US release.

3. Hopefully if it does get a US release it will be in better packaging than the card sleeve that Europe got.

Though on reasons 1 and 2 i don't hold out much hope.

I just ordered the newspaper and had it delivered to my house a month or so ago...it was only 4 or 5 dollars....sheesh....so simple....and there you have it...

As for an offical release of this here in the states....I would only want it if it came with the other rumored tracks on it...the free release was fine but anything in the future should come with something "new"....
