I was watching that soul train docu that was on before PR and saw the end credits "Next: Movies That Rock: Purple Rain" I squeeeed! Love when it just pops up outta nowhere! Its like an invitation to watch.

It was on Palladia last weekend I think. This movie never gets old.

I knew I wasn't they only one who thought he kissed funny. Yuck! I just watched the dvd last night. And the director's commentary.

I'll always watch this movie when it's on, just for the pure fact that it's an 80s cultural reflection of awful clothes, acting and great music

By the way, I always crack up whenever his "dad" knocks his little body to the ground. It's one of those movies that make serious scenes look hilarious, LOL

Those kisses look alot better in still form. In living breathing motion it looks like he's assaulting their faces, moving his head all around and leaving Apples and Mary in a state of "WTF is he DOING?" I mean he could assault my face I certainly wouldn't mind, but I've kicked men to the curb for awful kissing like that which is on display in PR and UTCM. Thank goodness he has... um... other talents.

I sure noticed that when he was kissing Apollonia.

He should of taken kissing lessons and really french kissed her!

LOL I must be so weird, because I find his kissing to be so enticing!! I LOVE his lips so it's inconceivable to me for him to be a bad kisser. And the sitll shots look even better I'd like to be on the receiving end!!
