I keep seeing the DVD at Big Lots for $3.00. Bought myself a back-up copy. Wife laughed at me for buying a second copy of a terrible movie. biggrin

IMO, the comedy of Morris & Jerome (and some great music) makes sitting through this movie worthwhile...

I agree...if we could edit out most of the actual scenes and make it one long music video, I would think it was pretty decent. As the movie stands, I don't think anybody was even ATTEMPTING to act.

Man I will say, Prince is just being Prince, the only attempts at acting are by Morris, and even then he is not going far away from himself.

The only reason I own it, is because I bought it in a 3 DVD set that has Purple Rain and Under the Cherry Moon on it as well. The set cost me NZ $18.95 which is $12.75 in US$ So thats like US $ 4 a movie and Purple Rain is worth $12 alone.

I think Prince spent 10 million on the makeup and clothing bills and $12.75 on the acting lessons ad thats because everyone had Burger King on the way to the studio.

So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time
