Best live version of "Mutiny" I have a few takes of this timeless piece, but I haven't really heard him jam the funk out of this track, as I'm sure he has..

Anything from 1986 on the Hit N Run tour just rocked.

Prince family reunion 09 was dope
Probably the best song of the night, Paul ripped it up on stage. I was surprised by his skills on the mic 4 sure.
You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

I found a live version that must be from 86 but it wasn't part of a set and it is awesome! I wish I knew what show it was from. I have never heard him do Mutiny and tight and as funky as this performance. It's always a little slow. This night it was fast and funky. 1980-Present

The original singer is Prince. Do you not have the demo?

Semantics. First RELEASED version was The Family. Person to record it first PRINCE.
All that aside, folks should listen to The Truth's album. They did both songs (High Fashion/Mutiny). It's also on Paul's Best Of CD. That shiz is FUNKY.
I played both cuts on Part II of the Prince birthday celebration on my radio show, in the last 15 minutes or so.

My two favs are:
March 3, 1986, First Ave: "Paul...punk of the month!!"
and the Birthday Show in Detroit. She has robes and she has monkeys, lazy diamond studded flunkies....
