Your must-haves?

Everyone has favorites, but what select handful of Prince discs must you have in order to survive?

Mine are:

Dirty Mind, 1999, Purple Rain, Parade, Sign', Lovesexy, prince, Gold Experience, Emancipation, 20Ten

Dirty Mind, 1999, The Work, Black Album, One Nite Alone... Live (disc 3), Small Club.

Forget the bootlegs if they're not allowed in this thread.

You mean you're gonna actually hear what we play tonight? You're not gonna make up the notes in your mind?

I'd say at least all of the officially released albums and internet albums. If you dont' like em, that's cool but, you should still have em ...

I think if someone regards him or helf self a fan, every album in his discography is a 'must have'.

I only see fit discussing 'must haves' when it comes to bootleg stuff.

Even New Power Soul or say, Kamasutra? Cause they suck.

When I say all his albums I mean all his albums.

Add to that the 2 1/2 first Sheila E albums, The Time, Vanity 6, Apollonia 6, Madhouse and Jill Jones if you will.

And NPS is -for me- MUCH MUCH better than anything since Musicology (included).

SuperFunk59

Prince - For You up to Batman. (inc. Purple Rain movie)

The Time - The Time, What Time Is It?

Sheila E - The Glamorous Life, Romance 1600

The Family - The Family

Vanity 6 - Vanity 6

Anything else I can probably do without, but it's still nice to have a full set of all the albums. But The above are the ones that are constantly played to death in my house.
