Well, a letter is different from a video or tape or cd... isn't there a response to a fan in his native Rock n ROll Hall of Fame Restaurant?

What's funny is that in 1994 I called the publically available number for Paisley Park Enterprises and talked with someone and said that I was a software designer and had recently read about Prince's interest in new media. She sounded excited and gave me the name and number of the then president or manager of Paisley Park enterprises to submit my proposal too. It was a lady, her name escapes me now.

But at that time in 1994, I didn't have all the team of programmers and designers I would come to have in the 2000's... so I never sent anything.

And all that particular paisley park personnel were dismissed later on.

Woah, the org is a tricky place for a 12yo...

I loved writing letters to my favourite singers and actors when I was young. I very rarely got a response from any of them and came to understand that they can't always reply to all of their fans, but it was fun to do all the same.

If you have fun writing and sending the letters, do it, but if it makes you sad to not get a response, then probably best to keep your thoughts in a journal or similar instead.

As we know, Prince is a very private person in many ways, but I'm sure on some level he appreciates the time and energy his fans share with him (even if he sometimes has a funny way of showing it).

cuz anything i say is gunna corrupt her far worse than prince will - not

i think she should know up front he's a tits and ass man.

that way she wont get prince dementia and pine after him for 30 years thinking he's her soulmate twin flame eternal cosmic lover and they're destined to be married.

we should at least give her the chance to lead a sane and good life.

I say, send letters to all your heroes. Especially when you're 12. You never sknow, some of them night write back.

Many of the great people I've studied did this when they were young. So do it, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Just don't be disappointed at those who don't write back.

Prince doesn't respond to fanmail, period. He might read it, or he might not, but he doesn't ever answer (obviously he wouldn't have the time to do it even if he wanted to, just try to imagine the amount of fanmail someone as famous as he is probably receives).

I'd say that u have more chances of him reading it by posting its content here or on Moquake than by sending it to him
