So after you saw UTCM, did you run out and get yourself a Sam Cooke abum?
I bought this in the summer of '87 and tried real hard for a few months to get into it.
These days I love oldies, but in the late 80s it wasn't happening for me. I think I eventually trashed it!

Nope. I think I first saw Under The Cherry Moon around 2000/2001 and I just placed an order for my first Sam Cooke cd (Keep Movin' On) a few days ago.

No. I was already into Sam Cooke. But, since I was sixteen, I did spend the next year, answering the phone by saying, "What it is?" Until one of the church members told my mother that they called the house, and I said, "What it is?" Then, my mother threatened to "slap the black off"me if I continued to answer the phone in that manner.
So, for old time sakes, "What it is, y'all?" Now, excuse me while I put on my polyester shirt and go downtown to see if I can actually find a wreka stow.
