Upcoming shows in November. I saw there was already a thread regarding Zagreb so I thought I'd consolidate the information we know right now about upcoming shows. Mods, maybe this should be sticky as there are clearly more dates in the works?
8th November - Herning, Denmark
Translated text from Website:
The American mega-star, threw his deep-purple light over the year Roskilde Festival gives in all likelihood concert in Herning brand new Multi Arena 8th November - just 18 days after Lady Gaga.
This information has BT from a highly credible and experienced source in the Danish concert industry And although music manager in Herning, Georg Sørensen not directly confirm the date, he says the following: - Prince would be a great name for us here in Herning. We live in a society that is driven by demand. And Prince would definitely be a great name for our audience. But should not we just talk a little more when it comes closer. According to BT's data showed Prince just over 12 million dollars to play for this year's Roskilde Festival. How much should the Prince have on her two hours. Despite a highly volatile CD sales over the past decade, Prince remains one of the world's ten hottest concert names. And with Lady Gaga at the 20th poster Oct. sits Georg Sorensen and peoples in Herning even with good cards. Both parties are so heavily in the ongoing negotiations. But like Roskilde Festival should Georg Sorensen enough to distinguish a little Prince dubious reputation when it comes to keep appointments. In 2008 Prince canceled following a sold out Irish giant concert with just ten days notice. That cost the subsequent "His Little Highness" 1.8 million dollars in damages. But .. I wonder if it would go better this time. In Herning Multi Arena, which opens in late September to Denmark is not only a new luxury hall which can accommodate 15,000 spectators. From the outset, the country's leading hi-fi and acoustic experts also helped as counselors. And according to Georg Sorensen sound will almost be "incredibly good".
14th November - Krakow, Poland
Translated text from that website:
Prince in Krakow Wisla Stadium at the opening!
28th November - Zagreb, Croatia
From the website:
The artist formally known as Prince will bring back the sound of the 80s during a concert in Zagreb scheduled for November.

If it turns out to be a great show, and he plays Witness 4 The Prosecution, Old Friends 4 Sale(Original), Data Bank, Empty Room, Computer Blue, a full length Condition of the Heart... I would say it would be worth it to pay NASA to take you to the International Space Station to see that show.
If it turns out to be a show with 7 Prince songs in medley, and then 11 cover songs, then you will feel worse than you can imagine. If I ever pay more than $150 for a Prince concert, it would end up being a Tony M Reunion, with a 55 minute version of Jughead, followed by a "Welcome Back Doug E Fresh" Aftershow....that would be my luck.

I'm guessing this means shows in the US and/or UK are out for this year... Looks like he's doing central/eastern europe instead. Which is nice I guess... that translation says it will be his first showing in Poland. I wish I could go, but unless 700 dollars falls from the sky for the flight, I'll just hang out here. Prince esta muerto...

There were rumours of a residency in Paris too. These are a bit older and no date has been confirmed yet. All these shows planned for Europe make me feel less nervous about lining up acting gigs for the rest of the year. I hate being all booked up if he's playing anywhere in the States. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
