After listening for many days the 1994-95 material (Gold Experience/Come/Chaos) and really enjoying it, after a while I became tired of listening to that sound which has quite a heaviness to it, although great.

So putting on Emancipation (and the other similar albums that followed) was a wonderfull refreshing change from that, with the much lighter sounding music and production.

It was like having a refreshing sorbet after a main meal.

It's great that he changes his sound completely sometimes as we can get tired of listening to even our favourite albums again and again.
