The Digital Garden

http://thedigitalgarden.org/

It has been updated in 6 weeks!!!

So has the replacement for the databank died or just need new hands to help with the workload!!!

So site like it is very much needed to keep track of what is out there as well as given guidance to essentials in the world of boots!!!

Any news about its future would be very welcome!

Patience Jfrost - don't forget that people who run these sites do so using their own free time. They hold down jobs and have other far more important things to attend to, the site is updated as and when is appropriate. Chill.

This I know but I was in a round-about sort of way offering a hand if needed! Patience I know is a virtue but up to know the guys at the garden have kept abreast with new boots as they came out and there has been a fair few over the last 6 weeks, with no reviews.

Also I was letting those same guys know that they do have an audience as well and that their work is appreciated.

Well, updating a website is laborious and hard work, so updating the site each time a new boot is released is a somewhat futile exercise. I know it would soon drive me insane if I had to do it that way. So I'd imagine the obvious way of working would be to wait until a batch of cds are available, then update the site.

As I mentioned before, this stuff doesn't just magically happen - they have to fit it in around their own lives - this includes listening to the damned cds, making notes, transcribing them and then updating the website itself - it's no small undertaking.

As for offering your help... thumbs up!

Thats good news...As long as the place hadn't been left half finished.

I know the work involved to keep updated, but it is great that the Master (dum dum daaa!!) will be back soon!

I would have hated the place to go the way of databank and only be a memory !!! biggrin
