What are your top 10 Prince songs? Reading another blog here I got to thinking: What're my favorite Prince songs? I write poetry and many of his tracks are very inspiring. Here's my list:

In order:
No:1 Has 2 be Rock hard ina funky place..that guitar solo alone is worth the top spot
2.. Electric Intercourse.. "don't U wanna..?" 2 me this song is everything the beautiful Ones wanted 2 be, an understated masterpiece
3.. My Love is 4 ever, such an honest flowing song which spoils us with 2 guitar solos
4.. COME.. It's not so mucha song as a journey..that build up after the instrumental part is AMAZING
5.. Shhh.. When I saw Prince perform this live on the Welcome 2 the Dawn video I knew he'sd been sent by God, no mortal person could of done that, divine
6.. Rainbow Children..all glorious 10 minutes 3 seconds of it! As an openining to an album and all the colour and ancient playing with futuristic sounds it has 2 be one of the best songs I've ever been honoured 2 witness
7(joint).. Uneedanotherlover likeuneedawholeinurhead/Vikki Waiting.. Catchy with great arrangements and all the confusion of human eros relationships
8.. Saviour.. The most powerful and perhaps honest song Prince has ever written and performed
9.. In a large room with no light/I could never take the place of ur man.. I like the Latin element in the music plus the songs are so gripping
10.. The Cross.. The ending is literally Prince as Michaelangelo,s chapel painting touching the hand of GOD himself with his guitar and 2 date is the ONLY song 2 have EVER moved me 2 tears
