Prince and Charity Work

Ok, I know he once owned an orphanage. But has Prince ever done charity work or given to charity? If so, how come it's not really elaborated on or given much credit (I haven't heard much about it)?

Just curious...hmmm

i think he's sung about it in some of his songs..

"Some days I make a lot of money and give it all away"

he also had the love4oneanother charity going a while back.

Prince has given to charity. He just isn't one to blow his own horn about it, unlike other celebrities who wish to be praised for their giving.

He has done a ton of benefit gigs for various charities. And has also donated large sums of money to different charitable organizations.

He just don't shout about it like others i could mention.

Something at the back of my mind is saying it was a school in Cambodia or something. And it was mentioned on npgmc in a boastful way, then removed very quickly.

But it's that long ago, that may all be half remembered bollocks. Anyone with a better memory than me want to clarify?

blah blah blah

Well the Love 4 one another charities were SUPPOSED to build a school and a hospital. The funny thing is nothing ever happened with that money. How does NOONE investigate that. Isnt it a crime to promote gigs for charity and then keep the money? I know it was due to him turning Jehova Witness but that should not get him off the hook. Where did all of that money go from the Love 4 one another tour which was supposedly "100% going to charity to build a school and a dream to build a hospital" directly from Prince's mouth on tv?
