Dude, me being a fan of so many artists who have to deal with the same shit Prince is dealing with, lemme tell you something, no one likes ANYTHING better than to report about that artist's legal problems. Prince is not legit unfortunately. They'll never focus on anything he does positive. You think his comments were received well with open arms? No they called him a Luddite, a dinosaur, a weirdo, an idiot, a fool. No it's only gonna get worse before it gets better. Sure there's two sides but I wished we didn't have to hear about shit like this but that's life. Prince's a human being too. I just hope they settle this some kind of way.

Also me being a fan of another legend, I have to say I saw nothing BUT lawsuits in the front page even if that artist was doing anything productive it got overlooked because of shit like this.

Its not "lately" that he wants money in advance - he ALWAYS got an advance from WB. He's only looking to maintain how he's always done business (the difference being now that he wants it all in advance, rather than an advance and then a share in sales revenue. But, his new model works better for him).

Maybe one of the people he EMPLOYS to do this shit (does anyone here seriously believe that Prince opens his mail and bills, runs his accounts, writes the cheques - puhleeease!) made an oversight?
