Can someone direct me to the jakeasaurus thread

I want to see his review of the "leaked" version of 20ten now that I've heard it and have a good laugh at his bullshit (or lack there of). Anyone have a link to that argument-a-tive thread where he said he heard it but people didnt believe him and on and on.

I wish u heaven

Just use the search box in the upper right corner. Put in his name, "20Ten" or the words "promise" or "Guarantee" or something. LOL Actually put in "leaked track list" or something to that effect, - that would probably narrow it down for ya.

Compassion - Same vein as Dance 4 Me, has the same type of keyboard sounds as Hot Summer, the ladies sound good - the "you need compassion, compassion" part of Cause and Effect mirrors the chorus of this song as far as delivery/vocal effects

Beginning Endlessly - Lolita part 2, fat synths, cool dual vocals in each headphone

Future Soul Song - Remember the ending of The Dance on 3121, with the screaming and the "it's just not faiyah!"? It's back in this song, along with the vocal delivery of Somewhere Here on Earth. People who liked SHoE will like this song.

Sticky Like Glue - Black Sweat part 2 (I'm thinking this album is supposed to be as good as 3121) mixed with Ol Skool Company - we have some Camille, a rap similar to the one on Incense and Candles - I love this song

Lavaux - Synth sounds just like 1999, lyrics are cheesy and bad, the tempo picks up with some handclaps and finger snaps

Act of God - Dreamer-esque, Fury, etc. Colonized Mind caliber lyrics. Bleh.

Walk in the Sand - Same type of live band nursery rhyme as All the Midnights in the World, except I like Midnights better. It segues straight into

Sea of Everything - Same type of song as On the Couch / Satisfied, except slightly more futuristic sounding and not to retro. No organs.

Everybody Loves Me - I think he recorded this at the same time as Feel Better, Feel Good, Feel Wonderful ... this one is fun and funky

I know there's supposed to be a bonus track, but it's not included on the leak that I found...

Poor Jakeasaurus in that thread! And you' were right about Lolita synth and Beginning Endlessly's synth being the same type of musical voice.

An apology for what? The day 20Ten leaked he admited he'd made this whole thing up. Have you not actually heard the album?

Don't remember exactly, but he admitted it wasn't true at the same time as (not)asking for a link.

My previous review was completely made up, as if everyone didn't already know that. Thanks again for the website hits

Laydown is my favorite Prince song in a long ass time, in the top 5 for me. This is exactly the type of song I have wanted him to do for a good while now. LOVE it. I want an album like this song

I will be skipping the ballads and probably Compassion. My 2nd favorite is Beginning Endlessly, also extremely cool

I really don't even have much else to say right now, I need to spend some time digesting this album in full.

So he got banned.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

If he said he didnt hear it... I think he only said he lied (if he did) to cease the arguement. I acutally believe he did. Just because some of his comparisoons may be off.. thats minor... most peeps hear what they want in a song and he said he only heard it once. But the one thing he got dead on and wasnt in the reviews he was accused of plagerizing was...

"Walk in the Sand - Same type of live band nursery rhyme as All the Midnights in the World, except I like Midnights better. It segues straight into

Sea of Everything - Same type of song as On the Couch / Satisfied, except slightly more futuristic sounding and not to retro. No organs."

He was dead on the money with that. It does segue directly into Sea Of Everything and thats something the early reviews didn't mention. So take it as you will.. but i believe him.

Actually, the German Rolling Stone review DID mention that those two songs segued into each other.

In fact, it was exactly because Jakeasaurus' review was such a close 'paraphrased' version of this

review that his legitimacy was doubted. Quite justifyably so IMO, as every time his review did differ

from the german one, it was way off the mark. Plus it also repeated the 'mistakes' in the german

review, which further reinforced the conclusion that his review was fake. It was pretty clear that his

review was the work of someone who had read the german review but NOT actually heard the

album himself.

ok well now i'm just dizzy.

i dont know who to believe and i'm not sure at what point any of this even mattered.

i feel for jake and the people who gave him such a hard time.

he didnt commit a serious crime, but somehow it became a big deal.

please help me understand how a fan review, legitimate or otherwise, warrants such an outpouring of venom.

with no offense intended i'd like to understand what drives these kinds of arguments.

I must have missed something, but I am entirely unclear as to where a "Big Deal" was made about the Jake shit. It was clear he made it up, I and others called him on it every single time he asserted it was true, and that was that. Now we got people running around saying others are mentally unstable because they put the kibosh on some punk ass troll.

You've been directed. lock

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.
