I was lucky enough to be right at the front for the Prince concert at Arras on the 9th of September.. It was amazing, and the first time i've seen him, but been a lifelong fan. So fulfilled a dream.

I noticed they were filming the whole thing onstage, and was wondering if a DVD will be released, and if so, where i will be able to get hold of it? I got plenty of HD footage on my camera but would love to see the actual footage they shot.

Would really appreciate a response if this is normal for his gigs to be filmed, and if they ever release the dvd's for purchase?

Also, does anyone know when he'll next be performing in Paris?

No DVD. Prince films everything, and nothing ever gets released. And the shit that does get released is some crappy half-concert edited by someone who doesn't know what they're doing (a la Aladdin). I wouldn't hold my breath, if I were you.

Prince likes to watch himself, it's that simple - constantly critiquing himself and the band. Fink told me how he used to do that way back in the day and it drove the band crazy. He still does it.

There are a billion times more accurate information on schkopi.com/forum that there is on prince.org. Sad but SO true.

The camras were just for the screens, they dont record.

It just in most cases not good enough for a release.

Just watch the Boot DVDs where the camera stays on the big screen, in some cases it is as painful as the wobbly camera from the back of a stadium!

English is not my native language but I'd be pleased to communicate with you in spanish, italian or french if you think it would be better. But something tells me you only speak one language and not even properly.

You never got over the cancellation of Croke Park. Prince will never come to Ireland. Never! You need to realize that asap and move on. Ireland = wrong country to see Prince live.
